Technology:
- TENS: Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) delivers electrical pulses to stimulate sensory nerves and provide pain relief in the targeted area. This technology has been used for decades in physical therapy, training rooms, and even in over-the-counter home treatments. At low frequencies, TENS can trigger endorphin release, offering pain relief for some time after the session. At higher frequencies, it blocks pain signals from reaching the brain, a phenomenon known as the Gate Theory.
