Targeted Recovery Where Your Body Needs It

Tightness around the hips can affect running, cycling, strength training and everyday movement. Normatec Premier Hips surrounds this important area with rhythmic air compression, creating a pulsing massage pattern across the lower quads, hips, glutes, IT bands and lower-back region.

The system’s two independent zones overlap to provide smooth and continuous coverage without uncomfortable gaps or noticeably uneven pressure. This makes it suitable for pre-workout activation, post-training recovery and general relaxation after long periods of sitting, standing or travelling.

Seven Adjustable Compression Levels

Choose from seven compression intensities between 40 and 110 mmHg. Lower settings offer a gentler session, while higher settings provide firmer compression for experienced users or demanding recovery routines.

The adjustable intensity makes the system suitable for different activities and personal preferences, whether you are preparing for a run, recovering after leg day or relaxing after a long journey.

Two Overlapping Compression Zones

Normatec Premier Hips uses two independent, overlapping air-compression zones to cover the surrounding muscles more evenly.

The zones work together to deliver sequential compression across:

  • Lower quadriceps
  • Hips and hip flexors
  • Glutes
  • IT bands
  • Lower back

This gapless compression design provides a smooth transition between areas throughout the session.

ZoneBoost™ Targeted Compression

ZoneBoost™ allows you to focus additional compression time and pressure on a particular zone. This is useful when one area feels tighter or requires more attention than the surrounding muscles.

Rather than applying the same routine everywhere, ZoneBoost™ provides a more personalised recovery experience based on your activity and comfort preferences.

Cordless, Portable Recovery

The integrated control system eliminates the need for an external control unit or connecting hoses. Simply put on the device, secure the adjustable straps, select your preferred settings and begin your session.

Its cordless design makes Normatec Premier Hips convenient for:

  • Home recovery
  • Gym and fitness studios
  • Sports clubs
  • Running and cycling events
  • Training camps
  • Hotels and business travel
  • Long journeys

At approximately 1.5 kg, the system is compact enough to store or carry in the included drawstring bag.

Bluetooth and Hyperice App Connectivity

Bluetooth connectivity lets you access compatible controls through the Hyperice App. Depending on the available app functions and software version, users can personalise session settings such as intensity, treatment time and zone pressure.

The device can also be operated directly from its integrated control panel, allowing you to begin a session without using a phone.

Up to Four Hours of Battery Life

A rechargeable battery provides up to four hours of cordless operation. The extended battery life makes it possible to complete multiple sessions between charges, depending on treatment duration, intensity, environmental conditions and usage.

For charging, use the supplied 12V Hyperice wall charger.

Ideal for

The Hyperice Normatec Premier Hips is suitable for:

  • Runners experiencing post-training hip or glute tightness
  • Cyclists seeking recovery support for the hips and lower back
  • Strength-training and CrossFit athletes
  • Football, basketball, tennis and racket-sport players
  • Fitness professionals and personal trainers
  • Sports recovery centres and physiotherapy environments
  • People who stand or sit for extended periods
  • Travellers looking for portable compression recovery
  • Active individuals wanting a convenient home recovery system

How Dynamic Air Compression Works

Normatec technology uses controlled air pressure to inflate and release different areas of the device in sequence. This creates a rhythmic compression massage rather than applying constant static pressure.

The pulsing action is designed to support temporary circulation, help ease feelings of muscle tightness and complement an established warm-up or recovery routine.

Normatec Premier Hips should be used as part of a balanced recovery programme that may also include appropriate movement, hydration, sleep, stretching and professional guidance when required.

Suggested Session Use

Before Training

A moderate session of approximately 15–20 minutes may be used before physical activity to help prepare the surrounding muscles and reduce feelings of stiffness.

After Training

A session of approximately 20–60 minutes may be used after exercise as part of a post-workout recovery routine.

Start at a comfortable pressure level and increase intensity gradually. Compression should feel firm but should not cause pain, numbness or discomfort.
